Business Bill Pay FAQs

Business Bill Pay is a bill pay service that allows business customers to make payments to other businesses and to individuals through their Internet banking account. In addition to making payments, Business Bill Pay users can run customized reports, handle payroll payments electronically, automate expense reimbursement, delegate tasks and set permission controls for other users.

There is a monthly charge of $10.00 which includes 15 transactions. If 15 transactions are exceeded in a month, a fee of $0.50 will be incurred for each additional transaction.

Payroll can be handled online with Business Bill Pay. Pay employees electronically, set salaried and hourly employee compensation parameters and even split an employee's payment between multiple accounts. You can also set up reminder emails for when payroll is due.
Start by adding a payee. Once you add a payee, that company or person will be displayed on your Business Bill pay dashboard.

To pay, enter the payment amount and date then Submit. The payment is then sent either electronically or by paper check. Your payment information, including your bank account number, is sent electronically via a secure transmission or mailed via the U.S. Postal Service for any paper check issued.
Payroll must be completed by 3:00p.m. the business day prior to the pay date. For example, if you pay employees on Friday, payroll must be done on Thursday by 3:00p.m.
You can pay virtually any business, employee or individual with a mailing address within the United States and Puerto Rico.
Payments may take 7-10 days by mail or 2-5 days electronically once the bill payment is initiated.
Payments are sent either electronically or by paper check as determined by the vendor. The method of payment delivery is displayed below the payee name on your dashboard.

Yes, you can send a single payment to pay multiple eBills.
An eBill is an electronic summarized version of a paper bill from a company that you do business with that is viewed in Business Bill Pay. An eBill can only be set up for eligible companies.

Email or text alerts can be created to notify you when an eBill is received. The payment amount and due date is automatically imported into Business Bill Pay.

There will be a link on your eBill to your account log in on the payee's website that will allow you to view your full bill.
If an eBill is available for that company, it will say Set up eBill beneath the payee name on your dashboard. Select Set up eBill and enter your log in credentials for the payee's website. Accept the terms and conditions and Submit.
You'll continue to receive a paper bill unless you asked the payee to stop sending you a paper bill.
Simply choose the account you want to pay from, enter the amount you want to pay and schedule the date of when you want the payment to be delivered.
You'll see eBill Due displayed beneath the payee's name if an eBill is available. You can also sign up to receive an email or text alert notifying you when an eBill has been delivered to your account.
You can run audit reports showing payment information, track company spending and view the payment activity of authorized users.
You can specify who can make payments, which payments they can make and can set maximum payment limits. You can also set up a request for final approval before any payments created by other users are processed.
