Shop local. Bank local. It matters to us, too. Why should you choose your local, community bank? Because we are your neighbors, living, working and contributing to the health and vibrancy of our towns and state. Decisions are made right here. Your deposits are put to work in your community, helping a young couple purchase their first home or an entrepreneur starting a new business.

We give back, providing monetary support for youth and educational programs, the arts, recreation, as well as on going support of many not-for-profit organizations whose work is vital to our collective well-being. Our officers and employees donate over 5,000 hours annually in service to their communities, engaging with 220 separate events and 145 organizations. We know you have many choices about where to do your banking. We work hard to earn your trust and confidence; we value your business and we hope you choose to bank with us.

Each fall we celebrate our employees with an Employee Appreciation event, a gathering that features comradery, fun, food and recognition. We are fortunate to have many long-time employees. Thirty employees were recognized for service awards from five to forty years, with ten of those having twenty years of service or more! Our ability to grow and attain strong financial performance is directly attributable to our employees and the high level of commitment dedicated to their work, their customers and our bank. It’s an honor to be part of this awesome team!
