Official Rules for What Community Truly Means Holiday Campaign
1. Eligibility; No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Internet access required. Campaign is open to individuals, age 18 or older at time of entry, who have a valid Facebook account and who reside in any of the following Vermont counties: Orleans, Essex, Caledonia, Chittenden, Lamoille, Franklin, Washington or Grafton county, New Hampshire. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Campaign: employees, directors, and/or officers of Community National Bank, Community Bancorp. and all other companies, entities or individuals associated with the development, judging or administration of the Campaign (“Contest Entities”), or members of their immediate family (spouses, children, siblings, parents) or persons living in their household (whether or not related). Prize winners are ineligible to enter or win more than once from the Campaign Period (as defined below). Facebook account must match the name of the entrant. Campaign void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Participation constitutes the full and unconditional agreement of the entrant (sometimes referred to in these Rules as “you”) to be bound by these Official Campaign Rules and by the decisions of Community National Bank, which shall be final in all respects. These Official Campaign Rules will be posted on Community National Bank’s website (www.communitynationalbank.com).
2. How to Enter
To enter the Campaign during the Campaign Period, visit the Community National Bank Facebook page located at www.facebook.com/CommunityNationalBankVT. Click on “More” at the top of our Facebook Page and find “Campaigns”. Click on the “Campaigns” tab and follow the instructions to complete and submit the online entry form. Incomplete entry forms will be disqualified. Online entry only, through the Campaign link accessed on the Bank’s Facebook page; no other method of entry is permitted.
All entries become the property of Community National Bank and will not be acknowledged or returned to the participant. Only one entry per person is allowed during each Weekly Campaign Period. Entries not selected as a prize winner will be carried throughout the Weekly Campaign Period but not through the whole Campaign Period. Non-prize winners may enter each Weekly Campaign Period. Multiple entries during the Weekly Campaign Period by the same person will result in disqualification. All entries must be submitted using a valid email account. Potential winner may be requested to provide Community National Bank with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.
The Campaign begins at 12:01 p.m. EST on October 15, 2021, and ends at 11:59 a.m. EST on December 24, 2021 (the “Campaign Period”).
The Campaign Period consists of ten (10) weekly Campaign periods. Each weekly Campaign period runs from Friday 12:01 p.m. to the following Friday at 11:59 a.m. (the “Weekly Campaign Periods”).
The Weekly Campaign Periods will run as follows:
- October 15, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to October 22, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Heat (heating fuel, pellets, firewood - $100.00)
- October 22, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to October 29, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Winter Gear ($100.00)
- October 29, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to November 5, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Vehicle Maintenance ($100.00)
- November 5, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to November 12, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Retail (gifts, toys, pampering - $100.00)
- November 12, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to November 19, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Groceries (local grocery store - $200.00)
- November 19, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to November 26, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Salon, Spa and Barber Shop ($100.00)
- November 26, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to December 3, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
- December 3, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to December 10, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Retail (gifts, toys, pampering - $100.00)
- December 10, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to December 17, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
Groceries (local grocery store - $200.00)
- December 17, 2021, at 12:01 p.m. to December 24, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
4. Winner Selection and Prizes
A total of twenty (20) prizes will be given away to twenty (20) winners. One prize winner will be selected by Community National Bank at 12:00 p.m. on each Monday and Friday during the Weekly Themed Campaign Period (read above for the weekly themes and prize amounts) in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for each Weekly Campaign Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Weekly Campaign Periods.
5. Winner Notification and Acceptance
Winners will be notified within one (1) business day after their selection via the telephone number and/or email address provided on the winner’s entry form. Winner must respond to the winner notification within seventy-two (72) hours of notification. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her telephone and email account for prize notification and receipt of other communications related to this Campaign. After prize notification by telephone and/or email and acceptance of prize, winner’s name and county may be posted on the Community National Bank’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CommunityNationalBankVT) and/or on the Bank’s website (www.communitynationalbank.com). By entering the Campaign, winner agrees to such posting.
To claim the prize, winners may personally visit Community National Bank’s main office at 4811 US Route 5, Derby, VT, or (if agreed by the Bank and the prize winner) another Community National Bank office, or (if agreed by the Bank and the prize winner) prize may be sent to winners through postal mail within ten (10) business days after notification. Winner may be required, in the sole discretion of Community National Bank, to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release prior to or upon acceptance of the prize. Valid photo identification may be required.
Winner’s failure to respond to the winner notification telephone call and/or email (including return of the email as undeliverable) or to claim the prize within the applicable deadline may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize and selection of a substitute winner from among the remaining eligible entries, in Community National Bank’s sole discretion. Winner will be responsible for reporting and payment of any federal or state taxes on the prize.
6. Other Conditions
Prizes are non-transferable. No cash redemption or substitution will be allowed. If the prize is unavailable, Community National Bank reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Community National Bank also reserves the right to cancel or modify the Campaign in whole or in part and/or these Official Campaign Rules if fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the fairness, integrity or proper administration of this Campaign, as determined by Community National Bank in its sole discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
By participating in this Campaign, you accept all risks and consequences of entry and participation, and agree to release, indemnify and hold Community National Bank and the Contest Entities, and their respective officers, directors, affiliates, employees, contractors, subsidiaries, agents and partners, harmless from any and all consequences, liability, losses, damages (including without limitation, consequential, punitive, incidental, special or increased damages and those related to personal injury, death or damage to property) and costs and expenses, of any kind, under any legal theory, arising from or related to this Campaign, including but limited to your entry and participation in this Campaign, the acceptance and/or use (or misuse) of any prize, printing errors, and (to the extent not prohibited by law) any claims based upon rights of publicity and invasion of privacy.
Neither Community National Bank nor any of the Contest Entities assumes any responsibility to you or any third party for (i) errors that may occur in the transmission of your entry, (ii) lost or intercepted entries, or (iii) fraud or misconduct on the part of any entrant. IN NO EVENT SHALL COMMUNITY NATIONAL BANK BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, and CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS arising out of or in connection with this Campaign. Your sole damages shall be limited to your actual out of pocket expenses, excluding attorneys’ fees. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND COMMUNITY NATIONAL BANK, FOR ITSELF AND THE CONTEST ENTITIES, HERBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Campaign Not Sponsored by Facebook®
This Campaign is sponsored solely by Community National Bank and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By participating in this Campaign, you are releasing Facebook and its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from any and all liability or damage you or any third party may incur or suffer arising, directly or indirectly, from your participation or the use or misuse of any prize awarded in the Campaign.
You understand that you are providing your information to Community National Bank and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for administering the Campaign, including entering participants in the drawing, contacting the winners and posting the winner’s name and county.
By participating, the winning entrant grants Community National Bank permission to use his/her name, likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment or additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
