This class is designed as a starting point to help beginner card makers navigate the materials, tools and techniques associated with making your own cards. You will make and take home six greeting cards with envelopes. The cost is $25.00 and includes basic supplies. We’ll meet in the CNB Community Room in Derby. Enter from the Crawford Road entrance off Route 5 and park in the back parking lot. Follow the sidewalk to the Community Room. Class size is limited to 12 to allow for social distancing. Be sure to bring your mask and your sense of creativity!

People are turning humble rocks into works of arts and placing them in public areas to spread cheer. Whether you paint them to keep or to share, you’ll enjoy this creative outlet. This beginner class will guide you through the materials, teach you some basics and get you started. The cost for this class is $20.00 and includes paint pens and rocks to get you rolling. Enhance your Android smart phone skills with this expert-led class! Experienced technicians from Audiocarve will cover the basics as well as Google Duo, Facebook messaging and chatting, email and video chatting. Learn important points to consider in planning for a more secure financial future, how to guard against identity theft and other forms of financial exploitation, and how to prepare financially for unexpected life events. Join CNB’s Vice President, Enterprise Risk Manager and Compliance Officer, Kelly Paul, as she leads the group through an engaging education and discussion. A medical crisis can happen at any age and an Advance Directive is an important step toward making sure you get the medical care you want if you are unable to speak for yourself. Join Neely Bryant, a medical social worker at North Country Hospital for 27 years, for an educational discussion and to review the document – complete it as you go or take it home to complete. Apply for a passport or renew your existing one with ease at our Community Circle passport day at the post office in St. Johnsbury. We’re scheduling 10 minute appointments in a private, designated, extra-large, multi-room space within the post office building located at 1153 Main Street in St. Johnsbury.
Your photo and application is processed within minutes, no lines or wait times. Bring your documentation along with checks for the U.S. Department of State and the USPS for photo and postage fee. They’re not able to accept credit or debit cards. Call us to make your appointment, 334-7915.

Join Shelly and Julie for a group green-up effort! We’ll meet at the East Side restaurant parking lot and cover the area along the waterfront to the Causeway Bridge. We’re bringing government postal employees on site for a special passport day for our members. Apply for a passport or renew your existing one with ease, no lines or wait times. WEDNESDAYS, MAY 19th - JUNE 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to Noon

Join PGA Golf Pro Josh Olney for a relaxed, low-intensity golf clinic for the beginner. If you’re looking to learn the game or perhaps brush-up after not having been on the course in a while, this clinic is for you! Josh will cover driving, putting and chipping, to full swing skills. MAY 22nd, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

The Community Circle Team will be walking the 4-mile course which starts at the Derby Beach House and continues up through Route 111 (the eastbound lane will be closed to traffic for runners and walkers). This will be a socially distanced event with safety protocols in place. Enjoy live performances of bluegrass music before, during and after the event. All participants who register with us by April 30th will also receive a Dandelion Run T-shirt. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $19.00 in advance for the 4 mile route. A portion of each registration will be donated to Umbrella, an advocacy group that provides support to victims and families affected by domestic violence. SATURDAY, JUNE 5th, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. (RAIN DATE: JUNE 19th)

Join Northwoods Stewardship Center for a paddle on Lake Memphremagog. From the mouth of Hall’s Creek, we will paddle out on the lake to Eagle Point in search of aquatic flora and fauna. This area also provides a spot for lunch in the canoes, protected by wind. Along the way, our nature specialists will provide nature tips. The cost for this event is $35.00 per person and includes a canoe, paddle and lifejacket. Please be sure to bring along your lunch, water, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. If you bring your own kayak, paddle and lifejacket, the fee is $15.00. We will meet at the Eagle Point Wildlife Management Area parking lot at 8:30 a.m. We’ll get situated on the water and hope to be paddling downstream by 9:00 a.m., then off the water around noon.
