Derby, VT—Community National Bank President and CEO Kathryn Austin recently welcomed Heather Hurlbert to Community National Bank. Heather will serve as the bank’s Residential Lender in Barre, Montpelier and the surrounding central Vermont area.
Hurlbert has enjoyed a lengthy career working in many areas of the financial services industry. Most recently she worked as a Commercial Lender for Community Capital of Vermont. During this time, she collaborated with several Community National Bank employees as the two organizations work together assisting entrepreneurs obtain resources to start and grow businesses. Heather shared, “I’ve always had wonderful interactions with Community National Bank and their employees. I know the bank’s culture promotes working really hard to best serve their customers and our VT communities, which is very important to me. I’m excited to join the organization, and I’m looking forward to my new role as a Residential Lender and helping my customers purchase homes.”
Throughout her career, Heather has been passionate about advocating for women in business and the financial industry in particular. Heather lives in Barre with her son Shea and her daughter Katie.
