Connie Daigle receives Community Service Award
Derby, VT—Community National Bank is proud to honor Connie Daigle by presenting her with the CNB Community Service Award. The Community Service Award recognizes dedicated volunteers who make our communities better places to work and live. Connie has served our communities and citizens in many ways. She’s an Associate Board Member for the Orleans Citizen Advocacy and an active member of the Daughters of Isabella. Connie was a Rotarian for many years, and as chairperson of the North Country Music Festival Housing Committee, she was in charge of finding host families for the musicians. Over the years, Connie has opened her home to many visiting students and continues to take in guests each year. Continuing to look out for the best interests of our younger neighbors, Connie has fulfilled the role of Guardian Ad Litem and has been an active mentor for teens by teaching cooking and knitting classes at NEKCA. Connie has served as the President of the North Country Hospital Auxiliary and still volunteers at the gift shop. The Auxiliary’s largest accomplishment has been raising $100,000.00 for the Dialysis Center. Connie also volunteers at Northeast Kingdom Human Services as a Representative Payee and provides a variety of bookkeeping services. CNB honors Community Service Award recipients by making a $500.00 donation to the nonprofit organization of the recipient’s choice. Connie is making her donation to the Orleans County Citizen Advocacy, Inc.
