We've become aware of recent fraudulent spam activity tied to email addresses that appear to be coming from communitynationalbank.com. The email informs customers that we have temporarily prevented access to your account and that we believe your account may have been accessed by someone else. Recipients are then instructed to click on a link or cut and paste the link into a browser. CNB IS NOT SENDING AND WOULD NEVER SEND an email like this to our customers. Do not click on the link, nor should you cut and paste it into a browser. In many cases, fraudulent email like this may be carrying a virus or may be trying to collect your personal information. |  | Phone Solicitation Fraud Alert It has come to our attention that potential fraudsters may be making phone calls to area consumers posing as Community National Bank (CNB) employees asking for verbal verification of personal information.
Community National Bank will never initiate a call to solicit personal information. Please do not give out any information to anyone that initiates a call and asks to verify information with you. It is a ploy used to gain personal information from consumers who may become victims of identity theft.
